Managed collectors

Management → Fleet is the inventory of collectors known to FleetAMP. Each row shows the group name, connection and health state, agent version, central desired version, labels, and drift state.

Stable identity​

Use a persistent OpAMP instance UID. Restarting or upgrading a collector must not create a new inventory record. The controlled fields application, environment, and place determine group identity; reported metadata and optional labels provide operational context.

Permissions​

  • Administrators can view and manage all collectors.
  • Group Owners can view collectors in their owned groups and delete them when group policy allows.
  • Operators and Viewers have read-only inventory access within their scope.
  • Only an administrator can delete a collector that is not assigned to a group.

Deletion is available from the final table column and is audited. Confirm that an offline collector is permanently retired before deleting it; a live collector can enroll again.
