Governed deployment

An approved request becomes a deployment with an immutable snapshot of the group, configuration version, label selector, and resolved targets. Later label or membership changes cannot rewrite deployment history.

Deployment states

A deployment progresses through queued, running, succeeded, failed, or reverted states. The Deployments page shows per-target progress and the reason for a failure or rollback.

Before dispatch, FleetAMP rechecks authorization, validation, group membership, and selector resolution. During rollout it records acknowledgements and effective versions reported by each agent.

If a target fails to apply or stabilize on the candidate version, FleetAMP restores that target's previous known working snapshot and records the result. See Rollback.
