Container lab

The container lab is a disposable environment for learning FleetAMP's workflow. It is not a hardened production deployment.

From the FleetAMP repository:

docker compose up --build

Wait for FleetAMP and the sample Collectors to become healthy, then open the UI address shown by Compose.

Suggested demonstration​

  1. Complete initial administrator setup.
  2. Inspect sample Collectors in Fleet.
  3. Create a group and select an unassigned Collector.
  4. Assign a Group Owner.
  5. Save a validated configuration version.
  6. Submit and approve the request.
  7. Observe rollout state and the audit trail.
  8. Introduce a controlled difference to demonstrate drift detection.

Stop with docker compose down. Add --volumes only when intentionally deleting the lab database and all saved state.
